Groundbreaking for this project was officially done on March 27, 2003 by the firefighters who work in the new fire station.  The 12,000 square foot fire station consists of block stone veneer, metal roofing, and includes complete living quarters for the fully functional fire station.  The project also included demolition of the existing fire station.
